Friends of Newclose Cricket Ground
It is now over twelve months since Newclose opened its doors on 5th September 2008. Since that date over 900 people have taken out either annual or life memberships at Newclose and this has been a great help in developing the venue as one of the most prestigious sports and leisure facilities on the Isle of Wight.
As part of our ongoing development of the membership we are now providing a greater choice in the types of membership available. To this end, and in addition to the standard annual and life memberships, we are delighted to introduce:
The Platinum Membership
As a Platinum member you will benefit from the following:
- A 10% discount on all food and drink purchased in the bar and Restaurant at Newclose (our new Chef, Jeremy and his new menu are proving very popular)
- Free entry to all cricket matches at Newclose
- Free entry into the Newclose quarterly draw (Substantial cash prizes)
- A Free bottle of wine with your meal for each new member you introduce as a Platinum Member
All you need to do to become a Platinum Member is to complete the attached application form and standing order for £10 per month and return them to us here at Newclose in the envelope provided.

The standard annual membership will allow you to continue to utilise the Bar and Restaurant and also provides you with discounted tickets to the bigger cricket matches at Newclose against County sides, England representatives teams etc.

Corporate Membership
In addition we also have a Corporate Membership which costs £50 per annum. This will allow your business to have two transferrable memberships allowing you to use the Bar and Restaurant facilities at Newclose as well as free access to the majority of cricket matches here in the Summer. In addition corporate membership will also offer you discounted prices for the conference and meeting facilities that available at Newclose
